![]() ![]() If it continues to happen write a comment and i can try and help. If the crash log says something like "this doesnt make sense" Its something wrong with the modpack/random minecraft error. If it is saying something about not enough ram make sure you have 64 bit java installed and add more ram (next 2 steps). My game launches but fails crashes after booting/joining a game 32 bit is not able to handle more then 3GB of ram and most modpacks need more then that. This worked on my friends computer whose the jar did not work.ģ2 and 64 are two different CPU architectures. All i have done is zipped the files for people to download. The zip file is all of the files the twitch launcher would install on its own. I'm honestly not entirely sure why it works. This worked for one of my friends and not the other. The jar launcher is the older launcher of Minecraft. ![]() Under the mods section you should now see Minecraft and when you press on it it says no modpacks installed. ![]() Restart twitch and where we selected jar install last time select Native Launcher this time. Unzip the zip in the Twitch Minecraft directory we created earlier. I will explain what the zip is for later in the post) If that doesnt work continue:ĭownload this zip(google drive might say its too big to scan for viruses. if you mod pack needs more then 3GBs of ram install 64 bit and adjust memory allocation slider, and select java 64 bit) If no option shows press the refresh button and make sure java 1.8 is installed (for now it doesnt matter if it is 32 or 64. Scroll down and make sure Java a java version is selected. You should see this page under "Launcher" change "Launcher method" to jar. Press your profile photo in the top right hand corner. Restart twitch (use task manager because twitch runs in the background) and try again to install it again. Press Advanced and make sure the "Minecraft Install Location" is a valid directory. ![]() If when you press install it does nothing follow these steps: When you first install twitch and go to Mods > Minecraft you will see this page Not much is online so this is a guide on how to maybe fix the issue. On two of my friends computers we could not get minecraft mods to install. ![]()
